Ragpiq imports your store straight from ConsignCloud: consignors, categories and inventory, with item photos if you want them. Nothing is changed or deleted in ConsignCloud, and consignor balances are never touched.
Get your API key
The import connects with a ConsignCloud API key. It takes about a minute:
- Sign in to ConsignCloud and open Settings, then API & Webhooks
- Under API Keys, click New API Key
- Name it something you will recognise, like "Ragpiq import"
- Copy the key
If you can't see the API & Webhooks section, ask ConsignCloud support to enable it for your account.
Treat the key like a password. It grants full access to your ConsignCloud store, so only paste it into Ragpiq. We verify it with a single test call, and we never show it again after you connect.
Run the import
- In Ragpiq, go to Business, then Import
- Paste your API key
- Choose whether to bring item photos across
- Preview what will be imported, then run it
The preview shows counts before anything is written, so you can sanity-check the shape of your store first. Large stores import in batches and can take a few minutes. ConsignCloud rate limits are handled for you.
After the import
Your consignors and stock are in Ragpiq. Prices, commission splits and consignor details carry across, and imported items are ready to list.
Re-running the import is safe. It picks up anything new in ConsignCloud without duplicating what you already brought over.
Something not right?
If the key is rejected, create a fresh one in ConsignCloud and try again. Old keys can be revoked there at any time. For anything else, message us from your dashboard and we will sort it with you.
