No. We check authenticity ourselves, so you can send pieces without receipts or tags.

The one exception: if your account has a strike for a replica, we may ask for proof of purchase before we make an offer on a designer piece.

We price them. Every piece gets one fixed price, back instantly.

You never have to set a price yourself. If a price feels low, you can ask for a better one from your offer and we'll take another look. Then choose whether to take the cash now or more as it sells.

Your first pick-up is free, up to $35, if you joined through a friend's link or one of our ads. Otherwise the fare comes off your payout.

Invite a friend, and when their first bag reaches us, your pick-up fare comes back, up to $35. Your second friend earns another free pick-up, and your third a $50 gift voucher.

Your offer stays open for 24 hours, and we'll remind you before it ends. If it runs out, tap Ask for a new offer.

Once you accept, choose how to get your pieces to us: book an Uber pick-up in the app, send them with Australia Post, or drop them at our Collingwood office.

Take the instant cash and you're paid once we've checked your pieces in. Some pieces are authenticated first, which usually takes 2 to 3 hours, then the money goes to your Wallet.

Take more as it sells and each payout appears in your dashboard the moment a piece sells. Your store releases it once the sale is confirmed and cleared, and an in-store sale can be paid on the spot.

Save your bank details early. Nothing can be released until they are on file.

Selling costs you nothing: Ragpiq's fee is charged to the store, out of their share of the sale, and never comes off your payout.

The one cost is getting your pieces to us. An Uber pick-up fare or a postage label comes off your payout, unless it's free (see Is pick-up free?).

On a marketplace sale, the marketplace's own fee comes off the price first and the rest is split. Your store is charged on what it actually receives, so this never changes what you are owed.

Instant cash is settled at handover, so there is nothing to wait for.

Consignment runs 8 to 18 weeks, set by the store that takes your piece, and some stores run open-ended. The clock starts when the store checks the piece in, and you can end a consignment at any time.

Only a piece left to sell can go unsold. Instant cash is already settled.

When the consignment ends you choose what happens to each piece. Discount it and keep it listed, take it back, sell it to the store for cash, or donate it to a charity partner.

Return postage is at your cost, or free if you collect in person. You can also take pieces back early by arranging it with the store, and they show any handling cost before you collect.

Yes, to help it sell, but only down to a floor. This applies to pieces you consign through Ragpiq. You can see the floor for every piece before you accept.

The more a piece is worth, the less can come off. Up to half under $500, up to 30% from $500 to $2,000, and up to 20% above that.

To go lower, the store has to ask you first. Say yes and that price becomes the new floor. If you don't answer in 7 days, the price stays.

You can also ask for no discounts on a piece, or for no lower than a number you choose. If the store agrees, that becomes the floor, and you can switch discounts back on later.

If a piece sells under its floor without your OK, you still get your minimum payout, which is your share of the floor. Refunds and any costs you chose still apply.

Take the instant cash and the piece becomes Ragpiq's once you're paid.

Take more as it sells and the pieces stay yours until they sell. We hold them for you, including while they're with a partner store, and we stay responsible to you for their care.
