Before June 2024, Pat and Gwynn operated a simple online consignment marketplace, helping users offload clothes and use our marketplace to gain some final sales before ending up in landfill. In operation, we saw the second-hand clothing market for what it is; disaggregated, multi-faceted, and complex. There isn't a one stop solution. But there can be.
What we do
Ragpiq is a software platform that connects clothing resellers with individuals looking to offload second-hand clothes, streamlining resale through AI-powered listings, automation, and cross-platform distribution.
Ragpiq is solving a deeply entrenched inefficiency in the second-hand clothing ecosystem. On one side, individuals are overwhelmed by the effort it takes to sell their unwanted clothes — photographing, pricing, writing descriptions, managing sales, shipping, and dealing with low conversion rates. On the other, independent resellers are eager for inventory but lack access to scalable sourcing tools and streamlined operations. Ragpiq addresses both sides of the market through a two-sided platform.
For clothing owners, we've built an app that makes it simple to offload items through a fast consignment flow. Users can either upload items digitally or request a pickup/drop-off to one of our resellers. For resellers, we offer automation tools to help them scale: AI-generated listings, cross-listing to marketplaces like Depop, eBay etc, inventory tracking, and integrated shipping label creation — all through one unified dashboard.
