Can I reclaim submitted items?
Yes — if your item hasn't sold yet, you can request to reclaim it at any time. Just reach out through your dashboard, and your reseller will arrange for the item to be returned. Return shipping fees may apply, depending on the reseller's policy.
What items do we accept?
Resellers on Ragpiq accept a wide range of items. From premium streetwear and designer pieces to quality basics and vintage finds. Each reseller sets their own criteria, so you can choose where your clothes fit best. If an item doesn't qualify for one store, others can still make an offer.
How do I get my share of the sale?
When your item sells, you're paid your agreed-upon commission directly through Stripe. Make sure your Stripe account is connected in your settings to receive payouts. You can review or update your payout details anytime from your dashboard.
How long do my clothes take to be uploaded to my virtual wardrobe?
Within 2 business days of it arriving to your reseller's location, you will be able to view your clothes in your virtual wardrobe. A confirmation email will be sent out to you confirming this.
When will I get paid?
You will be paid after an item is sold. Under Stripe's payout policy, after payment confirmation is made with the buyer, you will be eligible to transfer money after 2 days of settling.
How are my items priced?
Our proprietary AI technology defines a product's price based on a multitude of factors. These include market demand (Google Lens), brand relevance, size desirability, and condition (scale of 1 through to 5). Ragpiq's current model is capable of generating a fair and accurate price based on these complex set of variables.
Ragpiq gives you full visibility and control over every listing. Once your items are uploaded, you can review each one in your app or dashboard, adjusting the description, price, or condition at any time. If you don't like how a reseller has listed or priced an item, you can edit it instantly or request a revision before it goes live.
What happens to unsold items?
Unsold items are managed at the discretion of each reseller. Most resellers hold onto items for up to 90 days, during which time our dynamic pricing software adjusts the listing price to help maximise the chance of a sale. After that period, the reseller may choose to either continue listing the item, donate it, or remove it from their inventory.
As a seller, you can also request to reclaim your item at any point before it is donated or removed — just reach out through your dashboard.
How much will I earn?
Your payout depends on the final sale price and the reseller's commission, which they set upfront when making an offer. Ragpiq's platform fee is charged to the reseller, not to you, so what you see is what you earn.
For example, if an item sells for $100 and the reseller's commission is 30%, your payout is $70. You can also choose to "Boost" your items for greater visibility on a reseller's Ragpiq shop, which applies a 10% fee on your earnings.
Payouts are processed automatically once the item is delivered and the sale is confirmed, typically within 3-7 business days. Every transaction, payout, and fee is tracked in your account for full clarity.
What if the AI Assisted Listing price is inaccurate?
Once a consigned item is processed, we list them on our marketplace "unpriced". This means their products will still be displayed, but only offers can be sent to the user. Users will be notified that their items have been added to their virtual wardrobe via email, where they can then alter any details of the listing.
The AI Assisted Listing feature is simply there to speed up the listing process, and it won't always be 100% accurate. After you've confirmed the pricing and item details, click the signal icon next to your item to turn it into LIVE mode and allow other users to buy the item instantly.
How many items can be listed in my virtual wardrobe?
It depends on how you're sending your items in:
- Shipping: You can upload and send up to 30 items per shipment.
- Direct ride-share drop-off: You can upload up to 80 items at a time.
- In-person handover or local pick-up: There's no limit — you and your reseller can agree on what works best!
No matter the method, we recommend uploading only what you're ready to consign so your reseller can process everything efficiently.
What items do we not accept?
Items that include any offensive content, contain odour, visible holes, stains, worn fabric, and missing buttons.
When does an offer expire?
Offers from resellers expire 48 hours after you upload your consignment to the map. Make sure to check in and accept an offer before it expires — after that, your items will no longer be visible to resellers unless you re-upload them.
How will I be notified of an offer?
You'll receive a push notification (if enabled) and an email. Check your "Chat" inbox to ensure you haven't missed any!
How does Ragpiq determine item condition?
When buying or selling on Ragpiq, it's important to know the condition of items to set the right expectations. Here's a breakdown of our condition ratings:
5 - Brand New Condition Items rated as brand new have never been used and come with original packaging or tags. Any defects, if present, did not occur from use but may include minor imperfections from manufacturing or handling.
4 - Excellent Condition These items show minimal to no signs of use. They might lack original packaging or tags but remain largely unused. Any defects are barely noticeable.
3 - Good Condition Items in good condition have been used but are still in great shape, showing that they've been well cared for. Defects are minor and do not significantly detract from the item's usability or appearance.
2 - Fair Condition Products in fair condition have been extensively used and have noticeable defects. While they still serve their original function, they clearly show signs of wear.
1 - Poor Condition Items in poor condition have significant defects and are only listed if their original value was particularly high. These products are heavily worn and may require repair or special care.
