Ragpiq lets you create as many commission rates as you need—because every consignment upload is unique. This flexibility allows you to offer lower rates for loyal customers or higher-value items, and adjust your pricing strategy per consignor.
When creating an offer on an upload, all your pre-saved commission rates are displayed for quick selection.

Commission Rate Types
1. Fixed Rate
A flat-rate percentage applied directly to the sale price.
2. Variable Rate
A dynamic commission that changes based on sale price, ensuring fairer rates across different price points.
Formula:
- Min Price & Max Price define the range for calculation.
- Min Commission & Max Commission set the boundaries for commission percentage.
- Items below the min price use the max commission.
- Items above the max price use the min commission.
- Items in between are calculated linearly.
- Use our Commission Calculator for quick calculations.

Calculation Rules
- Commission is applied to the sale price minus any marketplace fees (shipping and tax excluded).
- Example: Sold for $100 on Depop, $10 fees → Commission is calculated on $90.
- Bundled sales are calculated per item, as each has its own commission rate.
When Commission Rates Lock
- The rate is locked when the user agrees to consign with you.
- Commission rates cannot be changed after acceptance.
- To assign a different rate for a specific item, you must create a Manual Upload for that user.
