You can ask us to delete your Ragpiq account and the personal data connected to it at any time. You don't need to be signed in to make the request.
How to request deletion
Email hello@ragpiq.com from the email address linked to your Ragpiq account, with the subject line "Account deletion request".
We'll confirm we've received your request, verify that the account is yours, and complete the deletion within 30 days.
If you only want some of your data removed (for example, old listings or messages) rather than your whole account, say so in your email — we can handle partial requests too.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile details (name, email address, and any contact details you've added)
- Your uploads, listings, and item photos
- Your in-app messages and saved preferences
- Push-notification tokens registered by your devices
What we keep, and why
Some records are kept after deletion, but only for as long as the law requires:
- Transaction and payout records — to meet tax, accounting, and financial-reporting obligations.
- Consignment acceptance records — with personal details minimised, to meet our legal obligations around consigned goods.
- Fraud-prevention and safety records — if your account was involved in a dispute or was blocked, we keep what's needed to support our security measures.
If you have items on consignment
If you have items currently consigned with a partner store, we can't delete your account until those consignments have finished — the items are still yours, and we need your account to get them back to you. Recall or complete your active consignments first (or mention them in your email and we'll help you sort it out), then we'll complete the deletion.
